Shapes of Our In-Ground Pools

The pool you choose will become a place for family and friends to gather and have a great time. It will be a place where you can relax and get away from the stress of life. Before you make your choice, we want to discuss some basic pool shapes that you will see below.

• Rectangular pools are more formal, especially because they were the most common shape in early designs. These types of pools are wonderful for swimming laps.
• Oval pools offer the same benefits as rectangular pools, but their softened edges make them less formal. They can be fantastic for playing pool sports, because many different types of sports equipment can work around their perimeters.
• True-L pools can serve many purposes at once. Great for swimming laps, they can incorporate a shallower play area that makes them friendly to all ages. You can get also a Lazy-L pool, which eliminates the right angles and makes for a more natural, relaxed shape.
• Kidney-shaped pools usually fit backyards very well, and their natural shape makes them a very popular choice.
• If you have a family who loves swimming, get a figure-eight pool. It is easy to separate depths out for all ages.
• Grecian/Roman pools are the most formal design. Their symmetrical shapes give them unique sophistication.
